Clarification of Advertisements, Solicitations, etc.
1) Advertisements, solicitations, spam, etc. in threads, posts, and/or personal messages are forbidden on this message board.
2) If you have a website you wish to promote (and is appropriate per the board guidelines) you may ONLY post a link within your profile and/or signature...that is all.
3) No banners, pictures, etc. advertising your personal site are permitted (i.e. posted on the board, within your avatar, or within your signature).
4) No posting links to your own personal site (except if located in your profile/signature).
5) You cannot solicit on this board and/or request people to click on your link within your profile/signature.
6) Any post that breaks the board guidelines (such as advertising, soliciting, etc.) in anyway will be removed. The first occurrence will result in a warning (depending on the material it could result in an immediate ban). The second occurrence will result in banning.
Regarding the Discussion of Other Authors
As we discuss numerous authors within the Reading Nook Board (or elsewhere), we must be sure we maintain the guidelines of this board while still discussing other great books that we have read.
1) If you discuss other books of an author, the only link you may post (if you wish to post a link) is the MAIN PAGE to the author's OFFICIAL web site. Any other link posted will be removed (i.e. amazon link, fan site, etc). If an author does not have an official site and you wish to post a link, you must contact TheThirdOption.net first for review. Furthermore, spamming of a particular link may result in posts being removed and warning received.
2) As this is a message board for Vince Flynn, no links to other message boards are permitted. Also excessive reference (spamming) of a particular board will be removed as well. Of course a link is still permitted in your profile/signature.
