Finally received a settlement today on my totaled truck. Yay!
Now I have to start truck shopping in earnest tomorrow. Boo!
Do your research online first so you know what you want and what to expect. Don't trust the salesman unless you know him/her and if you are buying used, talk to the previous owner. Now go have fun!  |

^^^^Great advice....edmunds.com to find the net present value (or what others are paying) of a new or used car...it will give you a baseline. also most fleet managers will allow you to purchase a vehicle for $500 over invoice price (not to be confused with MSRP)

Sorta. Thanks for asking.  I drove home a new RED Escape this past Wednesday. It has been great to be in an SUV again. That rental car was so low to the ground and really aggravating my nerve pain. |

Waiting for my Son and his family to arrive for a week at the lake--then on Sunday my Daughter and her family will arrive for 2 weeks--my Aunt and her friend were here for 2 days and left on Friday the weather was perfect hoping for good weather for the kids vacations. My son in law does most of the cooking and the others pick up the slack so I kinda sit back and just enjoy the grandkids. |
