I know that Nash was given a medal and called a hero by the president, well Mitch was called a assassin by congress and a hero by the president when he was outed BUT, they are kind of acting like Mitch was never outed in the first place.

I'm pretending that this use of the word "outing" means something other than what you mean it to mean.

OK, done being silly.

Well, one difference could be just that Nash's "outing" was intentional and practically completely engineered by the CIA. Whereas Mitch's was the opposite.

Agreed--Nash is a good operative but also has a family to worry about so wanted to give him a break and a "real" job but not quite so dangerous for him and his family. Bet he's back in yet to be written novels.

How was it not obvious though that by "outing" Nash, that that would put him and his family in danger. That part seemed kind of farfetched to me.

I'd like Vince to bring the Stillwell character back from Protect and Defend. He seemed like an interesting character.

It's been a little while since I've read Protect and Defend. Who is Stillwell again, it's not ringing any bells for me...   Sad
